History of the manor ‘Karlamuiza’ (Manor Karlsruhe) dates back to the 18th century. The country hotel is arranged in a building of the old manor ‘Karlamuiza’. It was built in the 40ies of the 19th century. Externally, the old building has undergone few changes, retaining the original elegance and style.
Today, a splendid party hall and 7 spacious suites with separate kitchens and bedrooms equipped with modern appliances are located there. The country hotel provides a high-quality service and hospitality.
In the closest vicinity, there are nature walking paths, bicycle and ski tracks, breath-catching landscapes and sandstone rock exposures. It is located in the Amata river valley, on the territory of the Gauja National Park. The manor ‘Karlamuiza’ is located 75 km from Riga, only 8 km from Cesis (Zagarkalns), 7 km from Araisi and Zvarte Rock, 13 km from Ligatne.
An open air ice rink is now open on the pond of the manor "Karlamuiza", which is much visited by both grown-ups and children. The ice rink is 30 m long and 20 m wide, the ice is regularly cleaned and refreshed. The guests of the guest house can use the ice rink for free. Take your skates with you and enjoy warming-up and having a lovely time with your family and children.
