Country Manor Cuisine
Our restaurant serves manor kitchen cuisine. Our chef, when possible, uses locally-sourced, seasonal and organic ingredients. During summer and fall, meals are prepared with vegetables and herbs grown in the hotel’s own garden and mushrooms picked in the local forest. In addition, produce and meat are sourced from local farmers and hunters. Almost all year round, the restaurant serves local trout. For guests with a sweet tooth, our chef prepares desserts with local garden and wild berries, rhubarb, and, of course, apples from our orchard. In addition, we offer an extensive selection of wines and local beer.
We serve breakfast every day from 8:00 to 10:00. For dinner, served 19:00 – 21:00 - we offer table d'hôte menu with set prices for a 3-course meal. Prior resevations for both – breakfast and dinner - are required. For picnic lovers, we can provide a picnic basket with a to go meal that can be enjoyed in the manor's or surrounding parks.
The restaurant’s dining room is bright and spacious, and its fireplace provides warm and welcoming atmosphere. An outdoor terrace, overlooking a picturesque old apple orchard, guarantees a unique and enjoyable dining experience during the warmer months of the year. For private parties, guests can rent the newly built Cherry Garden House – both an intimate and spacious - covered outside structure. Karlamuiza also caters to tourist groups, parties and celebrations, as well as business and private events.
