Karlamuiza is a cyclist-friendly hotel and we also rent out mountain bikes by the hour and by day. For your safety and convenience helmets and tire repair kits are also available. Please ask at reception about our bike rental.

We also arrange unforgettable mountain bike tours, where you will get to know interesting places and the picturesque landscape of the Gauja National Park. The routes combine quiet back roads with exciting wilderness trails and run in the river valleys of the Amata and Gauja. Our tours are also suitable for groups and you can choose them according to your fitness level and experience.

We recommend the following mountain bike tours:

Tour 1: Karlamuiza - Araisi - Raksi - Karlamuiza

The distance is about 22 km in hilly terrain, (level of difficulty: easy)

Tour 2: Karlamuiza - Zvarte Rock - Gauja - Karlamuiza

The distance is about 20 km in hilly terrain, (level of difficulty: medium)

Tour 3: Karlamuiza - Livi - Cesis - Raksi - Karlamuiza

The distance is about 28 km in hilly terrain, (level of difficulty: easy)

Tour 4: Karli - Raksi - Zvarte Rock - Karli.

The distance is 15 - 25 km in hilly terrain, (level of difficulty: medium)

Tour 5: Karli - Zvarte Rock - Ligatne - Karli

The route to Ligatne is approx. 13-20 km. The total distance is 30 - 35 km. The track area is very hilly (level of difficulty: high).
